 Report Cards didn't go home today as planned....they are finished, stapled, and sitting on my desk.....my apologies. I was reading aloud and never thought to stop and hand them out until after they had all gone for the day. They will be getting them tomorrow.  So sorry, everyone!!!

We have two assessments this week on Friday. I will be giving the kids a summative over the book Pigs Might Fly as well as their Chapter 2 Assessment on Native Americans. There really is nothing to study/prepare for the Pigs Might Fly assessment. Their time can be devoted to the Native American assessment.

Welcome to the 3rd trimester! This year has certainly flown by!!! 
 
Busy couple of weeks coming up with MEA testing...this week we will test Monday and Wednesday in the afternoon. 
 
I hope all my kiddos get plenty of rest and a good breakfast to start their day!

​FRIDAY ~ March 16th is the last day in the 2nd trimester. 
 
I've met with all students to make sure they know exactly where they stand as far as:
     * missing word or work
     * assessments that need to be redone​
     * Genre List of books (14 at this point) 
      * Book Responses (3).

We have two weeks left in this trimester ~ thinks to be aware of!!!
3 Book Responses due by 3/16
Approx. 14 books read for the Genre Folder to be on track for the end of the year :)
If there are "un"finished assignments please do your best to see that they are finished so    that you can start the 3rd trimester with a clean slate.

We have a busy week leading up to break. I have been encouraging all students to make sure they are prepared on the days that we have assessments. Many are having to redo them due to a lack of preparation.

4 Day week so the vocabulary assessment falls on Thursday this week.
 
We also have the Rockies & Plains Assessment as well..
