STATE ACTING COMPETITION REPORT - from Mr. Stephenson. EEMS hosted a very successful Maine Student Acting Competition this past Saturday. Over 70 students from 5 schools attended the competition this year. The judges had a hard time deciding who were the best actors and singers due to the amazing amount of talent shown throughout the day. Tyler Davis did a very impressive (and high scored) solo piece, "Pandora's Hope".

Many thanks to all the people who helped make the weekend run smoothly: Mr. Smith, Mrs. Kellogg and her husband, Gretchen Weisner and sons, and the custodial staff.

VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS SHOWCASE - The first Visual and Performing Arts Showcase is coming to EEMS on Wednesday, May 31.  Students who wish to perform along with our Art Show and VPA awards should sign up for an audition in the music room by Friday, May 12.  Performances can be music, theater, or dance.  See Mr. Smith or Mrs. Kellogg for more information.

ACTIVITY NIGHT RESCEDULED – Due to Friday’s ball games at Emerson, the last Activity Night of the year has been moved to Friday, June 2.
