Morning Announcements – Thursday, September 14, 2017

  1. Fundraiser Begins Tomorrow - We will have an assembly this tomorrow at 11:10 to kick off our annual fundraiser. We’re going with a new company that offers a nice catalog of items from which customers can choose, and we will also have a brochure of NFL flags, which we think customers might like to purchase. Students will be bringing a packet home on Friday with all of the ordering materials.

  1. Parent Volunteer Training Saturday – The first Parent Volunteer Training is this Saturday at 9AM in the EEMS library. If you are a parent who wants to help out in your child’s classroom or go on field trips, please consider attending this session or one of the evening sessions that will take place in October and November (dates to be announced).

  1. Grade 7 Field Trip – Today our grade seven students will be going to the Old Jail and to the cemetery behind the Congregational Church as part of their unit on Ellsworth unit. Have a good trip.

  1. Cross-Country Meet today – Good luck to our cross-country team runners in today’s first meet of the season. The meet starts at the EHS football field at 4:15.

  1. Activity Night – One week from tomorrow is our first Activity Night of the year. Grade 5 will have theirs from 4-6PM and grades 6-8 have theirs from 6:30 – 9. Students from out of town may attend the grade 6-7-8 event, so please invite your friends to attend.
