Morning Announcements – Wednesday, November 15, 2017, Grades 5-8
1. Thanks again to our staff and students for an excellent evacuation drill yesterday. You really know how to conduct yourself well.
2. EEMS spirit wear is being sold to benefit end of year events for our 8th graders. There are size samples in the main lobby so parents can check out t-shirt and sweatshirt sizes before placing an order. Gym bags, sweat pants, and beanies are also on sale. A flyer was sent home yesterday so that you can place an order.

3. We have a Red, White, and Blue Spirit Day this Friday. Show your patriotism!

4. EEMS is hosting the Instrumental and Vocal Honors Festival for our region this Saturday. 169 students are taking part and 14 are from Ellsworth. This is an all day event that is capped off with a 5PM concert. Entry fees for the concert are $5 for adults, $3 for students/seniors, and a $15 cap per family.

5. Today is our “Hands Across Ellsworth” activity where food will be passed from hand-to-hand and into the building and into the Emmaus Center van. Thanks to everyone who made a contribution.
