Morning Announcements, Grades 5-8 - Wednesday, December 20, 2017

Morning Announcements – Wednesday, December 20, 2017, Grades 5-8

  1. The Spirit Wear order has arrived and will be distributed to students this morning. Grade 5 and 6 reps are to come to the office conference room after announcements to get items for their homerooms. Grade 7 reps are to come down at 8:40 to get their items, and grade 8 reps are to come down at 10AM to get their items.

After 6th grade reps deliver to their homerooms, I’d like them to come back to the conference room and begin delivering Spirit Wear to the K-4 homerooms.

Parents who ordered Spirit Wear items as gifts are to come into school to pick up their order starting at 10AM today through Friday. Items can be picked up in the office conference room.

Staff members who placed an order can pick it up in the office by Mrs. Long’s desk.

  1. Calling All Trained Parent Volunteers: Set up for tomorrow’s Gifting Day Tables will take place in the lobby after school today. If you can help, we’d love to have you.

Trained volunteers are also needed tomorrow starting at 7:30AM to get wrapping stations ready and then to run the stations between 8:30AM until 1PM. Just show up when you can help. We greatly appreciate it.

  1. Show Choir auditions take place today, Wednesday, from 3-4:30PM in the cafeteria.

  1. Last Thursday the Ellsworth School Board approved Ms. Johns as the new grade 7 teacher. We have been very fortunate for the past two weeks to have Mr. Huppe substitute for Mrs. Beal until Ms. Johns could be available to us. Thank you, Mr. Huppe, and welcome, Ms. Johns.

  1. The basketball games that were snowed out yesterday will be played tomorrow vs. Hampden. Girls are home and boys are away.
