Owls of Maine visit the 4th Grade!
Fourth grade had Owls of Maine visit on Wednesday! Beginning with slides and sounds, students learned how to identify the characteristics and calls of each owl. Then, using talons, wings, and skulls, we explore the adaptations of these silent nocturnal hunters. We ended the presentation looking at live owls, bringing these creatures of the night into the light!
