Chewonki Owls of Maine came and shared a presentation with the 4th grade. They learned the identifying characteristics and calls of each owl. Then, using talons, wings, and skulls, they explored the adaptations of these silent nocturnal hunters. They shared a screech owl and a saw-wet owl with students.
