Our Pre-K community is excited to announce the return of the 100% From Our Hearts Coin Drive! Throughout the month of February, students at EEMS and the Moore Center will be collecting coins to benefit the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Ellsworth.
This year marks the 13th year that our early elementary and preschool classes have led this effort to help our neighbors access quality, healthy food. Beyond helping the community, this drive connects to our classroom learning as we celebrate the 100th day of school, observe Presidents' Day and learn about the faces on our coins, all while discussing the importance of caring for others in the community on Valentine's Day.
How to Participate: While our four Pre-K classes are leading the charge, we welcome contributions from the entire school community!
Students: If you'd like to donate, please check with your homeroom teacher to visit the Pre-K classrooms and drop off your coins.
Families: Every little bit helps us reach our goal of helping the Ellsworth area community.
We can't wait to see how much we raise -- we are always better when we come together!
