As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, the Ellsworth School Department extends a heartfelt congratulations to seven incredible educators embarking on their well-deserved retirement. Together, they have dedicated decades of passion, wisdom, and leadership to shaping the heart of our community!

As you can see - Mr. Smith and Mr. Ellis got a bit of a head start -- they are with our Ellsworth High School international travelers in Peru!
Our hallways will certainly miss these familiar faces, but the legacy they leave behind in our classrooms is unforgettable. Please join us in celebrating our retiring local legends:
Diane Cyr - 2007-2026
Robert Ellis - 2014-2026
Dee Goodman - 2008-2026
Mary Martel - 1987-2026
Rebecca Maddocks-Wilbur - 2011-2026
Nancy Sheryl Pinkham - 2000-2026
Brian Smith - 2002-2026
These educators have collectively touched thousands of lives, inspired generations of students, and anchored our staff with their dedication. Ellsworth won't be the same without them, but their impact will be felt for years to come.
Thank you all for your profound service to our schools, and cheers to a happy, healthy, and well-deserved next chapter!
