We are so excited to share that one of our HCTC instructors was recognized as the 2025 Maine CTE Teacher of the Year at Friday’s Fall Conference in Lewiston!
Congratulations to Mrs. Mason, our wonderful Business Leadership and Hospitality teacher! She was recognized statewide as the CTE Teacher of the Year for all of the amazing work we’ve seen her do right here in Hancock County since she joined our team.
Mrs. Mason’s dedication to her students and everything she does daily is remarkable – and it doesn’t go unnoticed. She pushes her students outside of their comfort zones to embrace experiences to not only better themselves, but their communities as well. She has built strong partnerships with both local businesses and local higher education institutions – ensuring that her students have access to meaningful internships and learning opportunities, and that they receive college credit for their work. Her hard work doesn’t end with the final bell, either. She is one of our SkillsUSA advisors, one of our MELMAC advisors, and also serves as the President of ACTE Maine!
We are so lucky to have Mrs. Mason as part of our amazing team here at HCTC, and we are so proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition of her passion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to student success.
