Due to driver illness, Bus 1 students will need to be picked up and dropped off later than their regular times until further notice. Pickup will once again be between 7:45 and 8:30 and drop off this afternoon will be between 2:45 and 3:30. Bus 8 will run its regular schedule. Thank-you for understanding.

This week for EEMS Athletics: Girls soccer: Tryouts for grades 5-8th continue Monday from 3-4:30. Another tryout may be needed for Tuesday. If no additional tryout is needed, girls soccer will practice from 3-4:30 this week. Boys soccer: Practices Monday-Thursday from 4:30-6. Boys who need to stay after until practice starts will need to report to the homework room at dismissal. Boys who leave school at dismissal will not be allowed back into the building. Cross Country: Runners will have practice Monday-Wednesday from 2:45-4. Cross Country will host their first meet of the season on Thursday. Boys run first at 4:15 followed by the girls race. EEMS Athletics Update: All sports: Athletes will need to sign up for fall sports in the middle school gym sometime during the school day. When they sign up, they also need to take a permission packet which needs to be returned to Mr. Downs prior to their first tryout/practice. An annual physical is also required for participation. Cross Country: The first cross-country practice is this Thursday, September 1, from 2:45-4:00 PM for all interested students in grades 5-8. Runners are to pick up permission forms on the first day of school so that the forms can be signed and brought to practice on Thursday. Permission forms are to be picked up in the gym at any time during the day. Runners should wear clothing and footwear comfortable for running. It's recommended to bring a filled water bottle. Coaches Mr. Newett and Mrs. Bland are looking forward to a great season. Further practices will be discussed at Thursday's practice. Soccer: A final kick around will be hosted Thursday after school from 3-4:30 for both boys and girls soccer players. This is not a requirement for joining the school teams but rather just a way for players to get back into a soccer mindset while reconnecting with other players and their coaches. School soccer team tryouts will be on 9/6, 9/7, and 9/8 if needed. Tryout times will be posted here and also announced at school. Open House is for students and their families only. Open House for Kindergarten Students Only is August 29 from 4:30-5:30. Open House for Grades 1-8 is on September 12 from 5:00 -7:00. Drop by to meet your child's teachers, view the classrooms, check out our facility. Light refreshments will be provided in the cafeteria.
