EEMS Cross Country today 10/29: Departure for today's cross-country meet at the Bangor Christian School is at 2:20PM. Runners are to be dismissed at 2:10PM in uniform. Maroon students on the team should be at school and on the bus by 2:20. One bus will be for boys and one will be for girls. Return time is approximately 6PM. Please remember your water bottle and your warm clothes.

EEMS Cross-Country UPDATE Thursday's (10/22) away meet has been cancelled. Instead, we will have an "Inter-squad Meet" during our regular practice time. This is for all Gray and Maroon runners. Maroon runners should be dropped off at EMS at 2:30PM. We will meet at the ES playground to stretch, then walk to EHS to race against each other--boys and girls running at the same time. This will be a non-spectator event. The start will be socially distanced and in waves. Pick-up time will be at 4PM at EMS.

Cross country guidance for this Thursday's Meet Cross-Country Meet Information for 10/15/20  Buses departs at 2:15pm. Maroon students should be at the school at 2:05 to load up.  Runners must wear a face mask on the bus and before and after the race.  Several Gray runners not going to this meet, and they have been notified. Next week, several Maroon runners will be notified that they are not going.  Students should have sweat pants and a sweat shirt/jacket to wear over their uniform for before and after the race.  Runners should bring a water bottle and a snack to the race.  Runners will call parents on the bus ride home with our expected return time. It will be approximately 6:15pm.  As reminder-Parents cannot attend the meet as spectators, but may drop off and pick up their child(ren) at the meet.

EEMS Cross Country Update: For Thursday's away meet at Treworgy we will have two busses leaving EEMS at 2:15pm. Due to CDC and MDOE guidance along with the size of the team there will be some students not attending away meets (they will be notified in advance who will not be traveling. For this Thursday's meet those few students were part of the gray cohort-they were notified today by coach Newett. For the meet scheduled for 10/22, coach will notify the few students not traveling-from the maroon cohort. If you have any questions please reach out twood@ellsworthschools.org
