Today, this group of 42 staff was excited to embark on a new journey to more deeply understand the science of how all children learn to read through #LETRS professional learning. LETRS training provides the background, depth of knowledge, and tools to more effectively teach language and literacy skills. Our educators' hard work will empower them to help prevent and remediate reading difficulties for all Ellsworth School Department students. We’re so proud of our #LiteracyChampions for their dedication to literacy education!
